| Though the second album by 1000psi titled "Heavy water" is listed as electronic, Heavy water covers more genre's of music, including ambient, world, new age and heavy metal. This album is deeper and darker than their first release, highlights include, "Torn apart" an interesting song that has opposing tones which gives the feeling of being torn apart, "Decay" a heavy metal number with layered relative and suspended chords which create an interesting and unique feel while being hard hitting as well. Other outstanding songs include "East wind" a middle eastern soundscape that draws imagery of a looming desert storm and "Into the sea" a new age song that takes the listener gently into another world. |
